How Many Keypads
Every system must have a minimum of one keypad. The primary keypad is typically placed near the main entry door when possible. The most common place for a secondary keypad is in the master bedroom. A secondary keypad can be helpful to indicate the exact location of a burglary in the event the alarm is activated while the occupants are inside the protected premises. On commercial locations the size of the location may necessitate a secondary keypad for convenience in closing and exiting the building.
